MTQ sends a quilt to Cory Tickner



Mountain Top Quilters Community Quilts philanthropic project sends quilts to wounded warriors from our area who are in recovery, usually at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. U.S. Army Specialist Cory Tickner is our most recent recipient. He was critically injured in Afghanistan on July 1st. Cory, a machine gunner in the 82nd Airborne, grew up in Prescott. He attended Lincoln Elementary, was on the football team at Prescott Mile High Middle School and was a student at Prescott High School for a year. in Bethesda Naval Hospital.
